| Well, I guess the time has come again. I am heading to Cuba in one week for a class that I am taking. We will be touring different social service agencies in Cuba and then spending a few extra days on our own. We'll be spending most of our time in La Habana and a few days in the countryside of Pinar Del Rio.
Viva Cuba y viva la Revolucion!
| We have moved into our new place, which is just beautiful. I will post some pictures of it. I have been busy baking and making crafts to my heart's content and David is "working". It is a lovely summer! Our living room. We got a beautiful, antique chair and couch from Value Village.
The living room looking into our bedroom. We got a hanging plant that we are hoping will eventually cover those wires and things.
David took these amazing pictures of Kamloops at sunset!
| Hello, we are back in Canada! It has been a fantastic trip. We stopped in New York for a few days, after leaving Kolkata and Delhi. I will post some pictures. David got to meet Rupert at the Hello Deli and I got to see the imagine monument to John Lennon in Central Park. So many life goals were accomplished on this trip! We are staying with my parents right now in Kelowna and we are leaving tomorrow morning to go down to Vancouver for Erin's wedding! YAY! And, in other, exciting news, we got a place to live in Kamloops! A one bedroom cottage downtown! It is perfect. It has it's own yard and garden and even a basement! It also has one of those antique bathtubs with the feet! And we get to live in it for a year. I am so excited. It is the best location and it is super cheap. We move in on Monday and I can't hardly wait! Look for the Chrysler building in the background.

| Well, We finally got our pictures of the mountains and ocean on a cd, so here are some of them! The first two pictures are of Darjeeling. This is the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, where they make handi crafts and sell them. I got a Yak wool sweater and lots of other cool stuff.
This is a forset on our way to Sikkim. The mighty Himalayas. (Pronounced: himALLeeas)
The first day of our trek (before the rain!) Part of a Buddhist monastery. A lake in Yuksam.
For the past week or so, we have been on the beach in Chandipur and it was amazing! So many sea creatures and beautiful shells. The tide retreated several kilometers every day! We also had some sweet storms. We are now in Kolkata and will be in the surrounding area until July 10, when we take the train back to Delhi. A horseshoe crab (dead)
A live crab (they are impossible to get close shots of)
A portrait of us.
The fisherman's village.
drinking from the coconut (it was disgusting).
The ocean at twilight.
Looking back towards the beach.
Fishing for prawns.
On the bus ride back to Kolkata.
A street scene in Baripada.

| Well, we have time for a few more pictures. Hopefully it works. We have bought a bus ticket to Kolkata for tomorrow and we hope to go straight to Chandipur, a small town on the ocean with palm trees. I bought the book Little Women to read in my downtown the other night. Unfortunately, as I found out later that night, it is only part 1! Argh. So I searched out a complete volume (Which is huge!). So now I have part 1 and the whole thing. Oh well. In other news, India is a great place. I definitely have a love hate relationship with it. Like David said, it would be nice if you could turn India on and off with a switch. I am definitely craving a nice big beef burger, as there is definitely no beef in India. Also, it would be nice to have a hotel with toilet paper, but people here just don't use it. We have learned the water method, but we still buy toilet paper because it is quicker and easier.
